Find another dealer.
The stock jetting is way too lean.
Because it now breaths better, you are even leaner!

You should be have a 185 ore 190 for the main jet, and a 45 or 48 on the pilot jet with air screw set aroun 2 1/2 out.

The KV has detailed procedures for uncorking the pilot screw and doing the rest of the above.

Real easy to do, just take your time.
Also, replace your intake seals and the carb to intake manifold boot, if they have not been done, they are junk.
They only last a couple of years anyway.
All the info you need is in the KV.

BTW, the race "ECM" doesn't get you much.
It's matched the stock ECM with the exception of the soft ingnition retard at the top end.
The stock ECM eases you into the rev limitier, the race version has full advance all the way to redline.
If memory serves, the curves are the same for both units.

Is your D&D the full version or a slip on? Just curious.

Thanks Brad. I have a new guy at the dealership and he just did what you suggested in the carb. it has made a difference. The D&D is a slip on. Any ideas what should be next? The mechanic says cams. And is there a better ECM out there? Thanks Shane

The next easiest hop up would be cams.
Other than that, you have to go "big".
Heads, pistons, HSR42 carb, etc...
LOTS more $$.

The ECM isn't a big deal for your motor unless you really start modifying things.
Then you'll probably want to go for a single fire type.

Thanks for the information Brad. I think the cams sounds good. I dont want to get carried away. Do you know if any other tails will fit the M2? Thanks Shane

The only one that fits without modification is the S3.
However, that would (IMHO) look kind of dumb....

Folks have put the S1 tail on but that requires frame modification.
