I was riding my 05 Firebolt XB12R home a couple of days ago and my clutch completely went out at the traffic light just as I exited the interstate. I removed the inspection panel and found metal shavings inside. The outer ramp and hook have some gouges in it, but the cable and coupling looks fine, also there is a noticeable crack and separation on the inside of the primary clutch/transmission cover. Has anyone else ever had this problem, or seen this problem before?

You probably need to post this in the clutch section to get more responses but this sounds like what you are talking about?
