Most people seem to have no problems with just an exhaust "upgrade" but my bike ran a little too lean when I switched to a V&H slip-on. It would backfire every now and then. I went ahead and downloaded the "Race ECM" fuel maps onto my stock ECM and it ran much better.

I would like to still keep warranty.
Maby I could get a second ecm and program it with race map, that way my original will remain unaltered in case i have to put everything back to stock to claim warranty? If I change the map in my oem ecm and then later resore it back to stock, could dealership fing that out??
I know it sounds cheesy , and it sort of cheating but what is the way around this?
