i rode the 03 XB9S to work today. rode home, and right as i stopped it died. i let the fan run til it cooled down. now when i turn on the switch, the fuel pump doesn't run, and the starter won't turn. the needles sweep, and the lights, horn, and everything else works fine. i figure one of you guys will know what is ailing it!

thank you!
ed

Sounds like the battery has gone bad or you have a bad ground. Seems like you are only getting enough juice to run the lights but not enough to run the pump or turn the starter. Try jumping it and see if it still does the same thing.
