my dealer is tryin to make it better! me gotz an '09 1125r to ride while they fix mine........nice......WOW! what a machine, too much for me.. |

i SO appreciated my sTT more, after getn off that 1125r....dont get me wrong, if speed is your thing, 1125r is NASTY,WOW! but uncomfortable to ride slow.....i like sitting straight up on my big comfy saddled musclebike.. |

First, that's cool that your dealer would give you a loaner. I've heard of this treatment but never have experienced it.
Probably because I've only taken my truck in one time; then two times for my wifes car, because of recalls. Otherwise I work on everything that I have.
On my bike, when I first bought it and didn't know about this site. I took it to the dealer. ...Bummer.... It's because I had a nasty stumbling/stuttering, backfiring, under power, and terrible fuel economy. I wanted to ride it soon and didn't want to fool with it at the time, that's why I took it in. Good news is they actually fixed it. But, I would have enjoyed having a loaner bike for that time frame. You-so-lucky!!
I hope to ride an 1125r some day and see what it has going for it. Like you, I really like my big comfy seat and the rest of what my Uly has to offer! It (the 1125r) would have to really wow-me-over to leave the XB's. |
