I just changed the oil after about 2500 miles and after refilling the oil i started her up and there is a loud knocking sound coming from the clutch case, not sure if it is just becuase i completely drained it before refilling and so it just needs the oil to circulate or what, i let it run for about 30 seconds before i just shut her off, dont want to ruin anything just yet... please let me know if there is anything i should check.

alright, its good to go, just tightened to specs or as close as i could get by taking off the chain viewer window on the side and testing. Runs as quite as a mouse now.. by buell standards

Be sure that you have sufficient slack in your chain. Slightly too loose is better than slightly too tight.
