Any help/comments would be appreciated. I have a 07 xb12r with D&D exhaust, buell race filter, and race ecm. With all this stuff on it the bike has lost nearly all power between 2000 and 4000 rpm. It's great from 4k to 6.5k and that's it. It also stumbles and coughs really bad from idle. I have to rev up to 3k or higher and do a rediculous amount of clutch slip just to get it moving from stop. Otherwise it coughs and stalls. The TPS has been reset by the dealer twice, and by me twice (ecmspy). My question is, can these issues be fixed by adjusting the fuel maps (I would take it to a dyno and have them do it) or should I take all the crap back off it and go back to stock. It sounded like crap stock but it ran great and had great torque. BTW I had the same problem w/the stock ecm after d&d and filter. I bough a race ecm hoping it would help (did a tps reset). It didnt seem to make any diff at all.

Have you done a TSP/AFV reset? That seems to cure alot of problems. I installed a D&D slip-on and high flow intake and flashed my stock ecn with a race eeprom. It runs like a raped ape now. The mods you currently have should work great with the race ecm. Did you do a TSP/AFV reset when you installed the new ecm? If you are insistent on a tune I would check with: http://xoptiinside.com/home

There are very few dyno shops that are competent tuning Buells. I would make sure they even know what ECM Spy is b4 letting them touch the bike.

I didn't do a TSP/AFV reset, just a TPS. I'll get out the old tuning guide and give it a shot. I agree w/your comments on having it tuned, there doesnt seem to be any shops that know much about buells. Thanks for the reply. I'll post back with how it runs after te TSP/AFV reset

Make sure to do the TPS reset correctly. When I first tried it I wasn't backing the idle screw all the way out. This wasn't allowing the TPS to go all the way to 100% with the throttle at max. The bike also wouldn't idle right at all. (I didn't try riding it, but others who made the same mistake said their bikes would stumble and not run right in the lower rpms.) Once I reread the tuning guide I figured out my mistake and did it the right way, she fired up nicely ran better than she ever did.

Someone sell me a select seat please!!!

TD, Thanks a ton, that was it. I reset the TPS and AFV. Had to do it 3 times to get it right. It still has a slight stumble reving up from idle, but only very slight now. Thanls for the help. Next Im going to work on the fueling to see if I can get a little more low-end back.
