The low fuel light indicator remains on even with a full tank.

Manual says to remove swingarm, rear wheel, drain oil and fuel to get to the fuel sensor and that I need a special tool. Is there an easier way?

Thanks

I believe there is a way to pull the fuell pump without pulling all the other BS off. I saw something about pulling the fuel pump to fix the wires. I'm not sure where the fuel sensor is, but search around to see how to remove the pump if you need to do this.

My son's '06 XB9 has this same issue. Somewhere someone wrote up a great article on how to pull the pump and fix a connector for the fuel level float switch. I found a great post on how to pull the pump out and check for nicked wires (post was about blowing ignition fuse)I tried searching but could not find the post. Can anyone "point" the way??

Thanks
