Are there any tech articles on the web or on BadWeb that list the yearly changes and redesigns of parts? I searched the web and here and did not come up with much. I have an 06 XB9SX and was wondering if there was anything worth upgrading parts that the newer CityX and mine share.

Thanks!

There is an annual document, an internal document sent to dealers, that details all model year changes, both technical and cosmetic.

Periodically they get posted here.

Thanks Court. Can you access them through the Buell website? I will continue to look through the archives see if I can find where I left off in 07.

No, I don't believe you can. Another good source is to look at the old web pages and magazines from the model releases, they typically carry a recitation of changes

Frankly, if you have a 2006 XB9SX I'd just ride it and enjoy it and save this effort for next winter . . . the bike, in 2006, was pretty well sorted out. I had a factory XB9 here for a while and loved it.

Yes I agree. No problems accept for a loose banjo bolt and a cracked airbox cover due to the brake fluid leaking out of it when I first got the bike and then they replaced the fan, but no trouble after that. I did the 07 inner airbox change and was just looking to see if any other parts were updated that would help extend the life of my most prized possession. Parts do get updated for a reason right?

Thanks again
