Anybody known about the small marker light that is mounted between the bright lamp and the dim lamp. I switched bulbs today and noticed a socket for a marker bulb. any thoughts?}

That light socket is on all the XBs. It is for foreign markets that require it. I put a bulb in mine. It works when the accy parking lights are on and glows when the headlight is on.
