I'm helping a friend who just bought a XB12R that has as far as I can tell the low springs on it. There was a issue that was brought up that I might have to change the whole shock set up on it. Any one have an idea?
I'm also waiting for a reply on what dia. forks are on his bike. I was told that they might be 41mm but at this time I don't know. I was also told that the low set up was only on a few bikes. None of which are a XB12R.
I am going to try to post some pic as soon as I can get him here.

Not sure what you are asking for on the shock?

The R never came with low suspension. Only the 12Scg and the 03-04 9SL. However, the low suspension can be swapped in. If the rear spring is blue, it is standard height. If yellow, it is low.
