On my way into work I noticed that the turn indicator on my XB dash doesn't work but the signals do. Any thoughts? I won't be able to look at it until I get home and get the manual out. Thanks for any input. | ||

Bulbs or connector would be a reasonable start. We know the flasher is fine. | ||

It must have been a loose connection it's working now and all I did was sort of poke around looking for obvious issues. I'll still want to trace everything to make sure. Like you said Buell Bert - must be from the flasher to the light. Thanks. | ||

It's a replaceable bulb in the instrument cluster, one for each of the indicators (except low fuel - that's an LED for some reason). Pull the cluster, pull the ten or so phillips screws that hold the back on, and you can disassemble the cluster. It's pretty intuitive to get in and out. The bulbs are a twist-base that mount to the circuit board. Oh - WRITE YOUR ODOMETER MILEAGE DOWN FIRST. It will clear when you unplug your cluster. If you use it to help with fuel stops (like I do).... |
