---Tried on XB board no takers---- I did do a search before posting and have been reading about clutch cables leaking on some bikes. Its not o-ring its cable joint itself on case end. The latest post under searches doean't give many answers for 2008 bikes are the cables the same in all years? My bike has been sitting for 5 months i did service before letting it sit.Serviced with 1 quart as recomended. only in last week i have managed to put 80 miles on so im not sure if it leaked while sitting or riding. there was only enough oil to "wet" cable housing not really even a drip. Is there an internal seal? I am not going to worry unless one of you guys tells me different. And the vent line is not clogged as far as i can tell. thanks

I had a similar problem on my X1. I tightened the fitting down and it stopped the leak. I think the action of twisting it did the trick.
