Someone has been in here. Opened my airbox this morning (100%stock XB12R), to start cutting, and the snorkel that goes through the frame is not there. Oh well. After doing some reading, it seems the only thing it can produce is some extra air noise. Not a big deal. I'm also doing a reroute of the breather hoses. I'll get some pics of it this afternoon or tomorrow.

Do I plug the original breather hoses on the base of the airbox? Will it make that much difference in intake temp?

Plug the holes the original breather hoses come up through. I just took a length of breather hose and ran it from one hole to the other. 5 or 6 inches of hose is all you need. Looks stock from the top, just a short U shaped hose from the bottom. Sorry I can't take a pic, dealer has my bike to warranty the neutral switch.

Routed my breathers yesterday. Other stuff is done. I was going to do the mod to turn both lights on for brights, and it was already done!
Now, I think I'm ready to cut the airbox. Not sure. If I do exhaust from Odie, or Drummer, as long as my airbox stays stock, I don't need to ECMspy the bugger.Hmmmmmm I know I want it louder!
