My three month old 07 Super TT (bought as a left over model) has some weird discoloration in the paint on the left hand side frame spar. My bike has not been abused, but the discolorations stick out on a new bike such as this. It kinda looks like premature fading in weird looking streaks. Has anybody else had a problem like this? Does Buell fix paint issues under warranty or do they just pass the buck like other companies?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Because I don't want to generate too much negative publicity which might get a possible warranty claim turned down.

I don't think Buell will pass the buck, but they probably have some kind of threshold for fixing things, and your dealer is probably the biggest factor in the whole decision. If your dealer decides its a problem, they can probably push it to resolution.

Depending of course on how bad it really is... there is obviously some common sense threshold between "no paint is perfect and things wear" and "obvious painting defect that represents a problem that has to be fixed with the bike"... Who knows where that line is drawn...

Sweet bike by the way!

If Buell passes the buck it will be the first time I've seen them do that in over 20 years.

Might not be the case with your bike but, I noticed that the textile pants I had were rubbing the paint off where my legs would "grip" the frame. Sounds stupid maybe, but just a thought.

Go to your dealer and see what they have to say. If you don't like what they have to say call Buell (414-343-8400) and see what they have to say.
