Alright gents whats the deal with puttin 12 flywheels on a 9? Are the lighter? It seems like putting cams or heads on a 9 are a bad idea unless your adding cubes because of the powerloss down low. So if this improves power or rpm then i am sold. Thanks

Are you thinking of the primary sprocket to improve the gearing?

I dont thinks so. I talked to a guy on the phone who specializes in buells from a company I found on here. I asked what could I do to increase power and rpm and that was one of a few things he said would help but didnt say why.

The primary sprocket on the XB9 has a smaller diameter which will reduce your top speed but increase your pick up.

It lowers the gearing by about 10 percent but as it the gearing change is before the gearbox it does not change the speedometer.

A really cheap way of getting more grunt from your bike.

You will need the sprocket and the xb9 chain.

Al at American Sport Bike has them for sale.
