Hi.

I'm paraphrasing a post I sent to the 1125R Board earlier today. Don't want to spam, but I could really use some help:

I got the Diamond Star Headlight Modulator. The manufacturer provides very nice, clear instructions with schematics for separate high- and low-beams, and for dual headlights with integrated high/low: http://66.252.233.21/products/DiamondStar/DiamondS tar_Instructions.PDF and http://66.252.233.21/products/DiamondStar/Dual%20H eadlight%20Modulator%20Kit.pdf respectively.

But of course, the 1125R has 6 different bulbs (high, low, and running lights) in 6 different housings (3 per side). I haven't even started to take it apart to look at the wiring because I want to have a game plan in place before I start the surgery. Can someone help me out? If someone has a schematic for the 1125R headlights that would be awesome but if not, just knowing whether the relevant wiring resembles one schematic or the other would be enough.

Thanks in advance!

Marco

The Electric Diagnostic Manual (available from your Buell dealer) has EVERYTHING you could want to know and more.

All the electrical systems are clearly displayed on a variety of diagrams broken out by systems.

Otherwise . . . . who knows WHAT you'll be flashing!

Thanks, Court.

You caught me. I was, of course, trying to avoid shelling out the extra $60 for yet another manual.

The good news is that the relevant schematics are actually buried in the foldouts in the regular service manual. So, while I may have to buy the electrical manual some day, that day is not today.

Thanks so much for your reply, though. I posted this inquiry in 4 different places in BadWeB, and yours was the only reply I got to any of them. I am really impressed with the help I see you give so many others, and I wanted to say thanks.
