Hi I am fairly new to buell so this maybe a repeat topic.I have a 2000 X-1 with a oil leak.It appears to be from the banjo fitting on the rear shock.I still have to see if the shock recall was done. What was the reason for the recall? Is this a common problem? Are there parts available to have the shock rebuilt?I plan on heading down to Daytona for Bike week. So I would like to have things taking care of sooner then later.

I inquired about a replacement shock for 02 S3T. I was told by a sponsor on this board that they are obsolete. They said some are still in the system and if I wanted one that it would take some time to find. Here's a pic of the shocks.
