i want to put a aftermarket exhaust on my xb12s but there is the electronic modular on the airbox i dont no how to bypass that please help!!!

Just disconnect the cable, leave the wiring attached and you will be okay.

You can either disconnect the cable from the actuator or tuck it up out of the way and cable tie it so it can be used again if needed.

when i unhook the wireing harness to that electronic modular the engine light comes on what do i have to do to bypass that the bike still runs but the engine light is on???

There is an exhaust valve simulator kit you can buy that plugs into the loose connector. I think it is just a resistor of a certain size that fools the ECM that the servo is attached.

i have been looking around for a exhaust valve simulator kit american sport bike dont have it i have checked a couple of other places but am having trouble any suggestions?

i am messing with my lights to get them both to be on i stumbled on to a web page that showed you how to do it. not a big deal by the way but there is a bulb between your high and low beam anybody know the part number for that little bulb/

Why not leave the actuator wiring connected and just disconnect the cable?

No light issues.
