I am in desperate need of another tire on the rear of my XB9R. I bought the bike with Continental attacks on it. The front is still good.
What do you guys think about buying race take-off tires as a replacement?

Probably not such a good idea. Race tires, even race DOT tires, are temperature sensitive. Running street tire pressures and on street speeds, your tires won't come up to proper temp. Further more, the compounds tend to be much softer, and you will not get many miles out of them before the profile is worn down to an unusably shelfed shape.
