Author Message   Shadyplace20 Posted on Sunday, November 30, 2008 - 10:15 am:        I normally ride with my brights on and noticed Friday the brights indicator dimming and then brighten. Then the speedo and tach dropped to zero and the clock/odo went blank. They all later came back on but did it again shortly thereafter. I rode home and parked her and have not touched it since. BTW '04 12R original battery. My initial thoughts are battery or maybe battery connections. Any other thoughts before I start poking around?   Buell_bert Posted on Sunday, November 30, 2008 - 03:49 pm:        I take it that just the indicators dimmed. If it was the headlights too it may be battery or something else. I do not have a wiring diagram on that year. On the tubers the indicators have a separate harness than the tach/speedo. I believe there is a ground connection behind the fairing that sometimes snaps (at least on a Uly.)
