Are all Tubers the same. Are the axles 25 mm or 1 inch. I do know my 2001 is 25 mm. And I have always thought they were 1 inch. Hey Thanks.

I think that all tubers 1997 and up are 25mm. I just made a tool to hold my rear caliper bracket in place while doing wheel changes, and I know that the axle is 0.98". 25mm is 0.984".

I would guess it to be 25mm. Why? The difference between 1 in. and 25mm is .015 of an inch. If the dia. is .98, then the inside of the bearing is probably .983-.984. If the axle measured .998, then you would have 1 in. axle. Hope this helps, and I did'nt confuse you!

I thought before I had heard it referred to as a 1 inch axle somewhere. But you can not put a 1" bolt thru the rear axle. So I now know they are 25mm. The ID of the rear bearings is .986. I was going to use a Buell rear rim on a project with a 1" rear axle. I ended up having my brother turn down the 1" axle to fit. Well it works now so thanks for all the help.
