I'm interested in converting my rear end on my CityX to a firebolt.

Ive seen threads on here and would like to see pics and if possible a parts list of what i need. i would also like to know if the process is easy or hard to do.

This conversion has been done many times.

LoneXB did mine in about three or four hours.

He is an excellent mechanic, and this was the first time he did it.

The subframe bolt right up.

The problem is that the electronics that are under the seat in the SX now have to be fitted into the Firebolt tail that was not designed for them.

There is room, but it is a very tight fit, and the wire loom must be opened a bit to redistribute the electrical stuff.

Search the KV a bit more, there are several posts that show pictures of how it was done.

If you don't have a lot of mechanical experience, I would try to get someone who has done it before to help.

This is definitely not a project for a beginner.

I felt it was worth doing.
