Quick question.

I think I got the cable adjusted about right, but want to move the engagement point closer to the grip, as I release the clutch lever.

Can't I turn the clutch adjustment screw, under the clutch cover, like about 1/8th of a turn?

Would I move it clockwise or counterclockwise, to move the engagement point closer the handlebar grip?

Thanks.

adjust according to manual...
lots of slack in cable......
remove clutch adj spring and lock plate...
turn screw ccw until it lightly bottoms..
turn screw cw 1/4 turn, reinstall plate and spring....
adjust cable to have 1.6-3.2 mm freeplay where ferrule and lever assembly meet.....

still not right?? consider fraying cable (stretches too much when pulled), or fried clutch
