Author Message   Delta_one Posted on Friday, November 07, 2008 - 09:35 pm:        Is there a company out there that sells a housing, lense (maybe a projector?) or reflector to make a HID upgrade legal in the US? I thought I had seen some but when I look closer its a retrofit or a Euro Housing. (does the E-housing make the lights us legal?) it seems that the primary problem is the scatter from the beams, and I need to get on and off a military base and they can be quite picky at times. make model year even if its for cars or trucks doesnt matter I am just trying to find a company that does it... I know of only one company (hella) and they have very few housings but a few lenses for cars if you want to custom fab housings. I still cant find if they are US legal HID projectors or not. any help? This stops the light from dazzling the oncoming traffic as you go over bumps and rises in the road. I not know, but I suspect technically that any modification you make is illegal.
