dang, what is the fix ? i've got a 03 xb9 12k., pri. fluid type & oil level is correct,(i change the pri. oil every 1500 miles) i always use the clutch when shifting, the primary chain IS adusted correctly. but she crunches pretty bad when shifting into 2nd gear (& you better shift it like you mean it!) can i use components from the newer models ? (06 ?)can a reliable "fix" be made using original parts ? signed ...never had a trans problems on a JAP-bike.
