i've been working on new maps for my 07xb9sx stock ecm. the timing maps are from the race ecm and the fuel maps are very closely patterned after the race ecm.
i noticed when looking at the "other maps" from the race eeprom, a few of these(specifically the acceleration enrichment) differ from the stock ecm. should i change my "other maps" to the same values on the race ecm's "other maps"? i've read to just burn race maps onto the stock ecm and hand hand copy the timing maps, but, nothing was said about the "other maps"
also, i have a TFI on the bike. do i need to unhook or turn off the TFI when useing the spy cable to put new maps on? i figure it needs to be turned off to datalog and other "real time" functions, or, does it need to be removed?
thanks
