Could someone describe what sort of locking bar I should use to lock the primary and cluctch basket sprockets so I can remove them both? Many messages discuss it, but I still don't get it.

Is it just a piece of wood or metal to sit between the teeth of both sprockets along the lower side of the primary chain? I measure about six inches of something is required.

Thanks.

Look at the "Hear Me, Feel my Pain........thread under troubleshooting and you will see a homemade one in action.

That's a pretty good picture and shows it well. Thanks.
