Tried Megalogger for the first time this morning. Hooked up my laptop, started ECMSpy logging (and verified it was actually seeing data), drove to work. When I got to work I clicked on the little disk picture to stop logging and ECMSpy locked up and I had to end it through task manager. There is a log file with todays date in the megalog folder but it contains no data. Any help???

Ok, so I went out at lunchtime and tried again. This time I have data in the log file for the first 30 seconds of the run and the last 30 seconds. Nothing in between. Weird. HELP.

Emailed Gunter and he suggested making sure "standby" on my laptop was disable, which it was. I also verified that I could open and close the lid w/o disruption, which I could. I went back into the laptop power manager again to poke around and I found "hibernate" after 15min was chosen so I turned it off. Gunna run it again on the way home to night and see what happens.

Why does it seem like I am talking to myself?

The first time I logged a run, my battery in my laptop actually died. (old laptop) come to find out somehow everything still saved and it actually only died about 5 mins before I was done with the ride.

now if only I could understand all the data. haha.

Well I logged my ride home and then did the VE Analysis, loaded the new map it gave me and rode to work today with the new set-up. Much smoother most of the time and throttle response both opening an closing seems crisper. I did end up with a new surge problem around 2500 rpm and some popping/studdering off idle when cold. Other than that it worked out quite well.
