So my bike has been sitting on stands in the Garage for a little over a week while I had to order a new set of tires and have them mounted. Got the wheels back today and threw em on the bike just in time to ride to work.

Bike starts up fine, I let it idle for a min to warm up while I put my gear on. Hop on and take off down the hill away from the house. Turn and go 1 block and it dies! Completely dead gauges stuck where they were no light no odometer, nothing.

Tried to turn key off and back on and nothing. Pushed the bike 2 blocks back up the hill to my house. Go in to get the keys to my truck to come to work and decide to try starting it once more. Turn the key, gauges reset, fuel pump primes, and starts right up. Hop on and ride up and down the street a few times, no problems, decide to ride to work. Half hour ride on the highway to work all fine, rode out to get lunch at work and still fine.

Maybe a electrical short somewhere? but I would expect it to happen in the same situation as it originally manifested. When it happened I was going straight and decelerating to a stop sign. I did that quite a few times and it has never shown again.

I'm confused.
