Like the title of my thread my Buell doesnt bark like it used to when I nail the throttle at 1000rpms anymore. I put a D&D Pipe and a K&N air cleaner in my bike and It used to give me a very spirited bark when I would crack the throttle at 1000rpms but now it almost dies and make a clicking sound in the air box. I have been told it is because of the little air flow and that I may need to make a collector on the other side of the air cleaner or open my intake manually does anyone have any good advice?

How long did this combo work OK before going sour and about how many miles has it been misbehaving?

Did you do anything else after the mods between then and now?

Is the whole low speed range below 3k rpms going soft as well or is it just the throttle snap from idle?

I don't know if you consider this good advice, but maybe you could try putting it back to stock and see if the problems continue with the stock equipment. If it does, then you'd know it's not the mods causing the problem.

Also if it is still under warranty, your dealer may be more willing to troubleshoot it as a stock bike and not blame it on a free-flowing exhaust. Know what I mean?
