Most folks like to have a kill switch, me included, but it is not a necessity.   Rick_a Posted on Thursday, August 28, 2008 - 01:08 pm:        I've relocated the kill switch to a dash mount and eliminated the entire starter circuit with one of those solenoid mounted switches. You just have to be real aware of that header when it's hot. It's nice to have the kill switch. My ignition is relocated to a hard to reach area so it's very necessary.
