I am stationed in Germany curiosity of Uncle Sam. I own a '03 XB9S and had a Jardine RT-1 muffler installed a year later after I purchased the bike in '03. Unfortunately German law mandates that motorcycle mufflers be below 95 db! The RT-1 hit 108.9 db with the quite insert installed.

I need help! I enjoy the sound of the RT-1, but not the German's. What would be a quieter muffler to purchase just so I can pass inspection?

The stock can works well. They are expensive though, as people use them to mod them.
