I want to change the color of the Airbox decals. Is it possible to remove them without screwing up the paint/colour on the airbox. I would be replacing the decals with the same, but different coloured decals |

Yes, but you have to be careful! I am repainting a set of plastics and I just removed them. [NOTE: This method destroys the decals you are taking off] I used a small flat blade screwdriver to get under the edge and pried up enough to get a hold of it with a pliers, then just pull. Mine peeled right off. Another method you could try is heating them up with a hairdryer. The heat should soften the glue. Which ever you choose, the slower you go, more patient you are the better results you'll have. Good luck! |

I used a piece of fishing line as a saw when I removed the "lightning" from the fairing. |
