Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I found some cheap wheel bearings for anyone with the Marchesini wheels (Pretty much all the fuel-in-frame bikes). Go to rockymountainatv.com, search for wheel bearings and enter for your machine a 2007 KTM 525 XC-W for the front bearings, and a 2003 Yamaha Big Bear 400 for the rear bearings. I measured them with a caliper and have ridden with them for a year and they work perfectly. They're All Balls brand and will save you about $60 from a dealer. |

Bearings may be the same size but there is a difference in the quality of manufacturers so be careful with your equipment and your health. Please. |

How many third party bearings had been reported here having failed? And how many stock bearings? Regards, Gunter |

Good points all . . . and bear in mind that the stock are oft times far superior. Whereas the manufacturer had "skin in the game" (they are at significant risk in the event of a failure), the aftermarket folks are not. |

The size may be the same, but I don't know if I would trust bearings from a 4-wheeler for my rear wheel. Seems like they would turn quite a bit faster in the motorcycle. Not worth saving a couple bucks to me. |
