Hey guys question about the Reservoir's I have the first recall Showa shock on my 95 S2. But have aquired 2 of the second recall shocks. I was going to send one of them out to be rebuilt, One of them has some bad road rash on the res. Does anyone know if the res on my 16.5 Showa will work on the shorter version?

Hey guys, I know this is probably a dumb question. But could someone give me the quick breakdown as to how the Showa shock works? I have 3 shocks on the bench, one 16.5 Second recall, and 2 14.8 Third recall. the 16.5 is shot, one of the 14.8's is good but kinda ugly. the second 14.8 looks brand new but has no res. can I take the res off of my old 16.5 shock and put it on the 14.8 that is missing it's res? And if so what else will I need to do. Oh by the way I have all the brackets also.
