Planning to do the Brembo/Ducati rear brake conversion using the conversion bracket from DarkHorseMoto.

Looks like there are several calipers that will work. Some have fittings on the top some on the side.

I have someone who wants to sell me a caliper with the side fittings (from a 999). Has anyone used this configuration? If so, were you able to use a stock Ducati brake line or did you have to make one from scratch?

Any other feed back on this conversion would be appreciated.

Looking more so for better braking vs. the aesthetic value of the conversion.

I ride an '08 Uly.

TIA.
