I've been using a nice straight through 2 1/2 inch fiberglass packed muffler on my M2 with an insert from Car Chemistry and its still a little louder then I like. Its a duel direction muffler with the same inlet and outlets. I have it mounted with the louvers inside facing back or with the flow. Does anybody know if I turn it around and face the louvers toward the flow if it would be quieter? I originally thought it would be about the same loudness and not blow out the fiberglass as fast if I faced the louvers to the rear. Any thoughts s or experiences out there from you car guys. Thanks, Bob
