I just bought myself my dream bike, an '08 Lightning XB12Scg in all black. This is my second Buell, I used to ride an '06 Firebolt XB12r. OK, here is the deal-e-oh. I am sure it has been posted, but I have been reading/researching for hours all week long. From what I could gather, I am interested in a D&D slip on muffler (I want loud, the firebolt had a drummer which was sweet, but I want a mean muscle bike now). HERE is where I need advice, from what I gather The set-up should be the D&D muffler, K&N air filter, Open air box conversion, billet oil catch can, a Buell pro-series race ECM (do I need to send it to AmericanSportbikes.com to get them to flash it to work with the D&D?????) and then a TPS reset (does that need to be done by the shop????). That is my plan so far, so give me advice please. I gathered that the ECM re-flash will help level out the performance in the bottom end a little better. I love what I have heard about the D&D for its mid-range power and I hear it sounds like a sportster 1200 with straight pipes! Hope to hear from you guys!!!! Thanks
