I just bought a 2001 M2 and it seems to be setup for a racing riding position (leaning really far forward). It's got the really low handle bars (all the weight gets pushed into my wrists) and foot controls that are pretty far back. I'd like to get into a more upright riding position - i.e. higher bars and bring the foot controls forward more. Probably more like the stock riding position. Any suggestions on where to look? I don't want to spend a ton of money so I'm not looking for some fancy foot controls or anything. I've got pics I can email if it's not real clear about what's on there now... Let me know, thanks! |

I felt the same way. I went with the Blast or S3T bars they are higher and work with the stock controls and harness. Also look for the M2L (Low) seat it will help also. There are also shock modifications to lower the rear. I also went with gel handle grips and fingerless gloves to help with vibration and the pressure on my hands. I hope this helps. |

I am almost certain you could get someone with a stock M2 to trade their stock handlebars and and foot levers (plus a little cash or barter) for your low bars and rearsets. Broach the subject on the board. |
