ive got an 97 M2 with a slip on supertrap for the wrong year, thanks to harley.
ive had a machine shop make me a spacer but id rather fix the problem either with a new header with the larger diameter, or a complete new set of pipes with no muffler at all to bring out that harley rumble.

any suggestions?

also i have tried high and low to find a set of under the seat pipes for my bike does anyone know where i could find these?

The 98 S1W has the 2.5" collector and rear header pipe outside the frame. Or pickup a Buell race header/kit. If you go with the S1W header get a D&D that will get you the amplitude that your are looking for.

That would be easily done but you would be giving up power and the poor manners that follow might be unacceptable.
