Check Chicago Harley. 20% discount, call to get part number then order on line. Great people to work with.

Just a PERSONAL comment . . .

While I think it's very cool that Chicago Harley-Davidson gives a 20% discount I do have a personal concern.

Before you make that purchase think of the following:

  • You can get that part from ANY Buell dealer.
  • You can get that part from your local Buell dealer.
  • You can order that part through any Badweb sponsor and get a 10% discount (generally)
  • The part is less than the lunch special at my local diner.
  • The "extra" 10% you are getting to get the "cheapest" is not enough to by a Hershey bar with Almonds.
  • Put yourself in the shoes of your local dealer

It's just my persona way of thinking and I'm sharing, not preaching. Follow your heart.

I **could** have easily installed my own RIDER COMFORT KIT the other day and I **could** have gotten it (along with my 2010 Wheel) free from Buell for R&D. I ordered it and paid full retail from Liberty Harley-Davidson Buell.

Why?

These are the same folks that have anted up thousands of dollars to throw some of the best Buell parties in then nation and are working their asses off to support Buell.

It's easy for me to appreciate their point of view when someone comes in and says "just do the free stuff, I'll change the oil myself".
