Anyone know where one can get the larger plates, I want to bore out an extra T.Bodyand go with say a 52 mm for a big bore kit later?

Has anyone else done this Hogs?

I read on a site ( cant bloody remember which one though!) that the low rpm throttle response suffered when the throttle body diameter was increased and that the current size is more than adequate for a big bore kit.

The lazareth bike had the injectors sized up to meet the fuel requirements of the supercharger but I do not think the throttle body size was changed at all.

Guess it depends on what you are looking for and how you intend to ride it.

My two cents worth.

Thanks Bombardier, for your input...

Just that there are vendors on the site here that do this mod.. and I have heard of another that did have it bored out, Now Not much say a couple of mm`s I thiunk to 50 or 52.. Just I have access to a machine shop and don`t feel like paying upwards of 300.00 to get it done when I can down the road If I choose to do myself..But just need a plate, Maybe car related plates that are larger in size can just be cut down etc.. Still looking for info..If anyone has some knowledge of this themselves LMK...

If you are still keen to give it a go there is a Kia site that advertises TB overbores.

I think it is called Kia Performance.

Google may be able to help.
