How long do the gel cell batteries usually last? I have about 6 years on mine now. I recently noticed that whenever I chop the throttle and go to idle, my lights dim. The bike doesn't run rough the lights just get a little dimmer. I'm thinking that the battery might be losing touch, since the lights always come back, and it doesn't charge constantly, I figure when it goes to idle and picks up from the battery it dims. Is 6 years a fair life cycle? |
