Hi, I bought a new 2006 Ulysses on Friday. Friday night, I noticed that both the high and low beams are aimed very low (hit the road about 20 feet in front of the bike). Also, the high and low beams have identical elevation - switching to high doesn't look any further down the road. So, I need to raise my low beam a little and raise my high beam a lot, hopefully before I go riding tonight. The owners manual gives no clue as to the procedure, where the adjustment is located, what to remove, etc. Anyone done this? thanks, Marty | ||

Marty - It's in the service manual, which is great to have for a number of reasons. The adjustment you're looking for is a screw in the bottom of the beak. There are two holes in the side of the headlight assembly to allow access to some screws. You may have to looses those up to allow adjustment as well. | ||

Made the adjustment as you noted, by loosening the screw underneath the beak, which then can be slid forward or back in its slotted clearance hole. But doing this moves both lights simultaneously, ie the whole assembly pivots as a unit. Is there no way to adjust the height of the low and high beams relative to one another? My low and high beams have different shapes, but they both aim at about the same level. Marty |
