My wife's 2003 xb has the kickstand switch on the kickstand itself. How do you install the new 2007 kickstand if it has no place for the switch. Can you defeat the switch or mount it somewhere else?

On my 2000 M2, to defeat it, I just soldered the 2 wires in the harness together. Then taped it up real good. Hope this helps.
