I just installed A standard Drummer yesterday, With A K&N air filter, stock ECM. Am I going to have any problems with the stock ECM running to lean or any other problems? By the way the Drummer sounds kick a A$$ And it seams to be running as good probably even better than before, Although I just wanted it for the sound because the bike was running plenty good for me like it was before. I just didn't like the sound I do now! The bike is A 2007 ULY. 10000 Miles on it.

I just got my Drummer yesterday (2007 XB9R) and put about 300 miles on it so far. No trouble whatsoever. I already had a K&N air filter with stock ECM, so the Drummer was the next logical step to get more out of my Firebolt.

My bike is now so much more fun to ride. More responsive, better roll-on acceleration. It's not too loud that it attracts undesired attention, but it sounds fantastic! I would highly recommend the Drummer to anyone interested in getting more from their Buell.

Thank you, Kevin Drum, and keep up the great work! I've had a grin on my face since the first time I rode on my new Drummer.

I also have the standard Drummer, K&N filter, and stock ECM. I had the TPS reset and it runs excellent.

You should be good. I run the same setup with a stock ECM on my 08. Just the other day I pulled both plugs and all is good.

With drummer using the stock muffler, would the Ulysses still have a strong "skid plate" that it has with stock muffler. I ride off road and need the underneath protection. Also, with a stock muffler, you can use a floor jack on the stock muffler when removing front or back rims.

Thank you

I have the same question that Tomtower posted on 3-23-08. I am happy with the power I have now, just want more sound. I an a new owner (08 Uly) and follower of this site, I have been reading many posts and the info seems to go both way as to if a race ECM is nessecery! I am not a racer and am 61 years old so I am not looking for more power just a louder sound, but I do not want to damage or loose current performance or MPG. $400 for the Drummer and another $400 for the ECM is more than I really wanted to spend to change the sound. Thanks so much for any info ,so I don't screw anything up!
