Guys --

Got real busy at work last year -- the cracked a few ribs -- so I've been off my beloved XB9R for four months.

Battery was near dead -- and was still the OEM -- so I decided to replace it.

Pulled it out and couldn't get the new one to settle in place (it sat too far back, obstructing screwdriver access to terminals).

Just to check, tried to put the old battery back. Same problem.

Obviously, I'm doing something wrong.

Any ideas? I feel stupid, but after two nights of f***ing around with it, I'm ready to drop my pride and reach out.

Dazed in ATL
