08 Uly ran great with minimal rough slow speed running all through Winter. Since weather warmed up rough running progressively got worse. Lived with this all last summer. Not this Summer. Dealer tech tried but could not feel what I was talking about. I understand. I feel the problem morning till night. He gets a 15 minute try. Anyway, I'm putting on a new stock ECM. I really feel the problem is fuel delivery. If I'm mistaken; I'm out hundreds of bucks. If I'm wrong, the techs can rule that out and diagnosis is that much closer to resolve. I'm single and I justify the cost as cheap compared to having a wife. ECM is cost of ten dinners and a movie with a large popcorn for two. That would be Omnimax.

Have you rerouted the breather hoses on the 08?
Mine 07 was the same until I did the reroute and now none of the oil and crap gets to the IAT,spark plugs or O2 sensor. |

I haven't touched one thing on my bike accept change oils. I'm not one to dive into unknown waters. After I become a bit more savy, I'll be alright. The rough running is back again. Try this: 1st gear, 3000 rpm steady throttle. She jerks around. Imagine a primary chain snatching. Higher gears the jerks are less and sometimes can be ignored. But I can feel them. As i said before, I ran another new 08 Uly and that thing was creamy smooth even with 30 second warm up. My 3K rpm in 1st gear with it was perfection + |

Bad_karma -- I am very interested in Ecmspy. I will try to stay on top of that. Thanks for the heads up on it. I will have a spare ECM to fool with also. I wonder if there will be any factory tech types at the Buell Gathering end of month or any diagnostic equipment there. Curious. I could give em something to do. |

Well, took home the new factory ECM. Plugged it in and nothing. Put mine in and elstarto. New one nothing. Struck me; has to be flashed at the dealer. Parts didn't say anything. Man! Took it back. Should be able to flash the one I have now. Wonder why they just didn't do that to eliminate it from the rough running equasion? So back to zero. I hope there's some kind a tech truck at Buell Badness. I'd like to have another opinion on this rough run thing I got going |

If we ask right and hook up to the right guys at the right time, there will be more help at MBV than you will have ever seen. These guys care about Buells and Buell riders. It is fun to watch and be a part of. |
