I was looking for a belt. I've known that it was about time to get a new belt, since I had already gone further than my first belt lasted. But, like most procrastinators, I finally started calling around the day after it broke.

I called the local dealers, Ocean City, Annapolis, etc., and finally found one at Leaming's HD/Buell in New Jersey. It was a mere 90+ miles from me.

I walked in, and saw, for the first time, the 1125R. It definitely looks much better in person! Three employees were standing around the 3 Buells, talking Buell. They even had a fat cat sitting around the place. The lady who sold me my belt doesn't ride bikes, but she does ride a horse.

I went ahead and started my Spring maintenance while I was putting on my new belt. That's when I discovered I had issues. I called around again, and found that Mike's Famous HD (NOT a Buell dealer) had parts that Seaford HD/Buell did not have. Two different parts guys at Mike's Famous HD (NOT a Buell dealer) knew more and were more interested in Buell than anybody I had ever talked to at Seaford HD/Buell. The guy there even said he wished they were Buell because he's gotten several nice Buells as trade-ins, and he has to order parts from Seaford. I'm just lucky I have a Blast and they service the Rider's Edge Blasts.

It sure felt good to go to two different places that have HD signs in such a short time without being felt like an outcast for having a Buell.

This morning, my Blast is running with better throttle response because they had parts and a little advice, too. I even let the clutch up too fast a couple times, and didn't kill the engine.
